Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Leern mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our App.

Description of Service

Leern is a vocabulary learning application that helps users expand their language skills through:

• Personalized vocabulary lessons
• Adaptive learning algorithms
• Spaced repetition techniques
• Progress tracking and analytics
• Multi-language support

User Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Subscriptions and Payments

Leern offers both free and premium subscription tiers:

• Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings

Refund Policy

All purchases are processed through Apple. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple's standard refund process. We cannot process refunds directly.

Intellectual Property

All content in the App, including but not limited to:

• Word definitions and example sentences
• Graphics, logos, and visual designs
• Software code and algorithms
• Audio pronunciations

are owned by Leern or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or extract source code
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Share your account with others
• Use automated systems to access the App
• Circumvent any access restrictions or usage limits

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The App is free of viruses or harmful components
• Learning outcomes will meet your expectations

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leern shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Leern operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
